Dr Marcel Lee
Dr Marcel Lee is the owner and director of SYDNEY SMILES DENTAL. He has been living in Sydney’s North Shore since 1991. He attended St. Ignatius’ College, Riverview, and then graduated with a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney. Following his degree, he then continued his studies in Adelaide where he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Adelaide.
Dr Marcel Lee believes that dentistry requires creativity and effective communication and listening skills. Dr Lee strives for excellence for his patients by always being friendly, approachable and warm-hearted. He is able to communicate effectively by being fluent in both English and Korean.
Dr Lee has a very friendly team that takes care of his patients. He is constantly in demand by patients who have been referred by other happy patients and specialists. Dr Lee enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in dental implants. He regularly attends professional conferences and seminars to stay current with the latest industry technologies and techniques, keeping the aim of continuous learning at heart and constantly improving his skills.
The moment he was honoured with his dental qualification, Dr Lee made it his mission in life to stay current and up-to-date with the latest advances in dental technology so he could provide the highest level of care to his patients. Over the years what he learned has laid a foundation for his outstanding patient care for which he is now well known and praised by his loyal long-time patients. So, after working for others for years he chose to create SYDNEY SMILES DENTAL.
Dr Isabelle Ahn
Dr. Isabelle Ahn is known by her patients for ensuring the quality of service and harboring a calm, enjoyable environment in Sydney Smiles Dental.
Dr. Ahn graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide. Since graduating, Dr. Ahn has completed Progressive Orthodontic Seminars to extend her knowledge and practice within the orthodontic field. With this training and a special interest in the cosmetic range of dentistry, Dr. Ahn is committed to making patients feel confident with their smile.
Dr. Ahn grew up in Sydney, and graduated from Cheltenham Girls High School. She enjoys playing the piano and loves listening to music. She is a fashionista and loves setting her own fashion trend in Sydney.
Dr Andrew Ryu
Dr. Andrew J Ryu aims to give you a pain-free and comfortable experience with the aid of the latest techniques. He pays particular focus to listening to your concerns and ensuring that they are addressed.
Dr. Ryu obtained his dental degree from the University of Adelaide. He maintains an open view towards health, continually reviewing current research and technology. He actively participates in continuing dental education and carries a continued passion for health and wellbeing with an added Bachelor’s Degree in Traditional Medicine obtained at the University of Technology, Sydney. In 2017, Dr. Ryu completed the prestigious mini-residency at EODO (Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics).
Dr. Ryu grew up in Sydney, and graduated from North Sydney Boys’ High School. He enjoys watching films and playing games of all backgrounds and genres. Dr. Ryu is also our resident foodie. He loves trying new foods and dining experiences.
